What paper does the HP Engage use? −
The HP Engage takes 3⅛" (80mm) single-ply direct thermal receipt rolls — no ink or ribbon. Our rolls wind on a 7/16" (11mm) core, while the HP Engage's OEM core is a wider 1" (25mm), so we offer these as a fit-test. We stock it in 220', 230' and 275' lengths, sold by the case of 50.
Can the HP Engage use 58mm paper too? +
Yes. The HP Engage runs 3⅛" (80mm) rolls and also accepts 2¼" (58mm) rolls. If you run 58mm, use our 2¼" thermal rolls instead of the 80mm rolls shown here.
Which roll length should I choose? +
All three lengths fit the same — it's about how often you want to change rolls. The 275' is the longest (fewest changes); 220' and 230' are the standard everyday lengths. Every length ships as a case of 50.
Will these rolls fit my HP Engage? +
The HP Engage uses a wider 1" (25mm) core than our standard 7/16" core, so we offer these 3⅛" rolls as a fit-test. Most setups seat fine; if yours doesn't, call 1-877-971-1010 and we'll match the exact roll.
