The Bixolon SRP-275III is an impact printer
Use bond paper — not thermal.The Bixolon SRP-275III prints by striking an ink ribbon against the paper, so it needs plain bond paper (single-ply, or 2-ply carbonless for duplicate tickets). Thermal receipt paper has no ink and will print blank in this machine. If you've been getting faint or blank tickets, the wrong paper type is the usual cause.
Ribbon note. The Bixolon SRP-275III uses the GRC-220B/BR ribbon, which we don't currently stock — call 1-877-971-1010 and we'll source it. The bond paper above is in stock and ships today.

The Bixolon SRP-275III is an impact printer — it uses 3" (76mm) bond paper and an ink ribbon, not thermal paper. Our fit is the 3" × 165' 1-Ply Bond roll, case of 50 rolls. (Thermal paper will not print in an impact printer.)
Can the Bixolon SRP-275III print duplicate (2-ply) tickets? +
Yes — the Bixolon SRP-275III runs 2-ply carbonless bond for a kitchen copy + a customer/record copy. Use the 3" × 95' 2-ply roll instead of the 1-ply.
Does the Bixolon SRP-275III need a ribbon? +
